AI staff training module
The EU AI Act expects staff who use AI systems to have adequate AI literacy, and UK regulators increasingly ask what training you gave people. This module is about forty minutes, written for ordinary employees, and produces the evidence.
Best for: Any business whose staff use AI tools day to day, and anyone who has been asked to evidence AI training by a client, insurer or regulator.

What the training covers
Five short modules, each ending in a knowledge check. Module one explains what these tools actually do and why they get things confidently wrong. Module two covers personal and confidential data — the paste test, client information, and what happens to inputs. Module three is shadow AI: the free tool someone signed up for with a work email, and why it matters more than the approved one. Module four covers checking output, bias and when a human must make the decision. Module five is reporting: who to tell, how fast, and what happens next.

The evidence it produces
Each employee receives a dated certificate naming the modules completed and the score achieved. Administrators see a completion register that can be exported as a PDF for your compliance file, for a client questionnaire, or for an insurer. This is the artefact people are usually missing when they say they have trained their staff.
Tailoring it to your business
For teams of 50 or more we can add a short section naming your approved tools and your own reporting route, so the training matches your actual AI usage policy rather than a generic one. Content stays the same length; only the specifics change.
Common questions
Does this satisfy the EU AI Act AI literacy obligation?
Article 4 requires providers and deployers to take measures ensuring a sufficient level of AI literacy among staff, proportionate to context. Structured training with recorded completion is the standard way to evidence that. It does not, by itself, cover your other obligations.
How long do certificates last?
We recommend annual refreshers, and re-training whenever you adopt a materially different AI tool. The dashboard flags when a certificate is approaching a year old.
