AI Operational Controls & Deployment Assurance

The riskiest moment in any AI rollout is the moment it goes live. We design the approval workflows, lifecycle management and deployment guardrails that make sure no AI system reaches a live environment before its risks have been assessed and signed off.

AI Operational Controls & Deployment Assurance pricing

Choose the level that fits your organisation. Starter is £199 for a deployment checklist plus approval workflow; Pro is £549 for the full lifecycle management framework. A pre-deployment assurance review is available as a £149 add-on. These are service options, separate from the Trestano Starter and Pro software plans.

From £199Starter £199 · Pro £549 · pre-deployment assurance review add-on £149

Best for: Teams deploying AI tools or automations into live environments, and anyone who needs a documented gate between 'pilot' and 'in production'.

AI Operational Controls & Deployment Assurance includes

  • Deployment checklists defining what must be true before an AI system goes live
  • Approval workflows naming who signs off at each stage, with the evidence they need
  • Lifecycle management covering pilot, production, change and retirement stages
  • Deployment guardrails that prevent unassessed systems reaching live environments
  • Assurance records you can show auditors, clients and insurers

Choose your level

Both options put a documented gate between piloting and production. The difference is whether approval sits on top of your process or the whole lifecycle is structured.

  • Starter — £199: deployment checklist plus approval workflow, giving you a clear go-live gate with named approvers.
  • Pro — £549: the full lifecycle management framework, covering pilot, production, change and retirement for every AI system.
  • Pre-deployment assurance review — £149 add-on: an independent review of a specific system before it goes live, with documented findings.

Why go-live is where governance fails

Most AI incidents do not start with a bad decision — they start with a system that reached production before anyone assessed it. ISO/IEC 42001 expects a controlled deployment process; without one, 'we were still testing' is not a defence once staff are using the tool with real customers.

What you receive

An approval workflow your teams actually follow, lifecycle stages that make each system's status unambiguous, and guardrails that make an unassessed deployment visible before it happens — all documented for audit.

Common questions

Is the service Pro option the same as a Pro software subscription?

No. Starter and Pro here describe the level of this one-off service, not your Trestano software plan. You can enquire about either option on any plan.

Does this stop our teams deploying tools themselves?

It gives you the control structure to do so: a checklist defining what must be in place before go-live, named approvers, and guardrails that make unassessed deployments visible. Enforcement is yours to apply — the framework makes it practical.

What does the pre-deployment assurance review cover?

The £149 add-on is an independent review of one specific system before it goes live: its risk assessment, data flows, fallbacks and approver sign-off, with documented findings and any gaps to close first.

How does this connect to the other ISO/IEC 42001 services?

They pair naturally: scope definition establishes what is governed, risk assessment establishes how systems are treated, and operational controls establish what must happen before any system goes live. Together they cover the deployment-side audit findings.

Not sure which you need?

Run the free AI register first — it takes about ten minutes and usually makes the answer obvious. Or tell us what you're dealing with and we'll point you at the right thing.

Not legal advice. Trestano provides governance tooling, documentation and practical guidance. It isn't a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor or your own compliance team.
