AI Leadership Governance & Policy Enablement

A policy that sits in a drawer protects nobody. We write your AI policy and put it to work: named leadership accountability, clear decision-making authority and an agreed budget basis, so governance decisions are made by the right people at the right level.

AI Leadership Governance & Policy Enablement pricing

Choose the depth that fits your organisation. Starter is £199 for AI policy creation; Pro is £499 for the policy plus a leadership accountability framework. An executive governance coaching session is available as a £149 add-on. These are service options, separate from the Trestano Starter and Pro software plans.

From £199Starter £199 · Pro £499 · executive governance coaching session add-on £149

Best for: Businesses needing leadership-level clarity and accountability for AI use — particularly where governance exists on paper but not in practice.

AI Leadership Governance & Policy Enablement includes

  • A documented AI policy covering acceptable use, oversight and escalation
  • Leadership accountability assigned, with named owners for governance decisions
  • Decision-making authority defined — who approves what, at which level
  • Budget allocation and resourcing expectations agreed with leadership
  • An operationalisation plan that turns the policy into routine practice

Choose your depth

Both options produce a documented, workable AI policy. The difference is how far the accountability structure is built out.

  • Starter — £199: AI policy creation, covering acceptable use, oversight and escalation.
  • Pro — £499: the policy plus a leadership accountability framework, with authority and budget allocation clearly defined.
  • Executive governance coaching session — £149 add-on: a working session with your leadership team on running the framework day to day.

From paper exercise to functioning governance

Most AI policies fail not because they are badly written, but because nothing operationalises them. We define who is accountable, what authority they hold and how decisions are funded and escalated, so the policy shapes decisions rather than describing them after the fact.

What you receive

A policy document your leadership team has shaped and agreed, an accountability framework naming who owns what, and a short operationalisation plan covering how the policy enters routine practice — induction, review cycles and escalation.

Common questions

Is the service Pro option the same as a Pro software subscription?

No. Starter and Pro here describe the depth of this one-off service, not your Trestano software plan. You can enquire about either option on any plan.

Who should be involved from our side?

The senior person who will carry accountability for AI use — often the founder, MD or a board member — plus whoever manages the tools day to day. The coaching session add-on is designed for the leadership team as a whole.

Does this make us legally compliant?

No. It establishes leadership accountability and a working policy aligned to recognised governance expectations, including ISO/IEC 42001. It documents your position rather than certifying it, and it is not legal advice.

What does the executive coaching session cover?

A £149 working session with your leadership team on operating the framework — making governance decisions, handling escalations and keeping the policy alive as the business changes. It assumes the policy work is already in place.

How does this connect to the scope mapping service?

They pair naturally: scope definition establishes what is governed, and leadership governance establishes who is accountable for governing it. If you are building a full AI Management System, we recommend running scope mapping first.

Not sure which you need?

Run the free AI register first — it takes about ten minutes and usually makes the answer obvious. Or tell us what you're dealing with and we'll point you at the right thing.

Not legal advice. Trestano provides governance tooling, documentation and practical guidance. It isn't a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor or your own compliance team.
